AEGILOPS at Agrotica in Thessaloniki, Greece 1-4 February 2018

Greek partner of LIVESEED, AEGILOPS – Network for Biodiversity and Ecology in Agriculture organizes a workshop within the framework of the 27th Agrotica ( International Fair for Agricultural Machinery Equipment and Supplies ) at Thessaloniki , on Sunday 4.2.2018, from 16.30-19.00 pm, (N Germanos Congress Center, Hall D):

   “Present and future for organic seed in Greece and Europe”

The workshop is being organized within the LIVESEED project, in which AEGILOPS participates as a partner, and is addressing the scientific and business world active in the field of organicagriculture. The purpose of the event is to explore the potential of improving organic seed production and organic breeding and to increase the availability of varieties adapted to the conditions of organic farming. Representatives of organic growers’ associations, seed producers,  organic  certification bodies, universities and agronomists dealing with organic farming and organic plant breeding, as well as representatives of IFOAM EU and partners of the LIVESEED program in Europe, are participating to the workshop.
